Get into the ring! How this works...

This is easy! Each week on Thursday I post my homily idea...my main focus for preaching this coming Sunday. What I am hoping for is a reaction from people in the pews. Does my "focus" connect with your daily life, faith, and experience? Or not? Either affirm the direction I am going in (by giving me an example from your life) or challenge me, ask for clarification! Questions are the best! Reaction rather than reflection is what I'm looking for here. Don't be afraid, get in the ring. Ole!

December 5th Homily

The homily from last Sunday, Dec. 5th, is in the library. Well...actually it's a summary because "mr. technology" pushed the wrong button at Mass.

Well it has to be hard finding the right button under all those robes :)

:),
What do you mean by your comment? Can you clarify?

He said he didn't record the sermon bc he hit the wrong button on the recorder. It's happened a few times.

I imagine the activity of this recorder. We have at our computer everything happening at St. Alberts,I think this is a hard work on Fr.Ed. A couple of pushing the wrong button it is expected and more to come... His ability to rectify and allowing us to listen to his short summarized homily is truly a blessing.
Hope you are not upset, I do not even consider it a mistake.

I was making a joke to let him know we understand and are laughing with him. Truly no harm meant in any way, shape or form. Would never criticize or laugh at him or his efforts.
