Get into the ring! How this works...
This is easy! Each week on Thursday I post my homily idea...my main focus for preaching this coming Sunday. What I am hoping for is a reaction from people in the pews. Does my "focus" connect with your daily life, faith, and experience? Or not? Either affirm the direction I am going in (by giving me an example from your life) or challenge me, ask for clarification! Questions are the best! Reaction rather than reflection is what I'm looking for here. Don't be afraid, get in the ring. Ole!

This homily was very meaningful and definitely deserves another listen. Loved the Spain story. lr
It seems many people liked the Spain story. Hmmm. Glad you did.
I think it's because we can see how vulnerable you were being in a foreign country with no place to live. All of us can relate to how scary that would be. You were literally at the mercy of others. You were "saved" by the little card and asking in the name of the woman to help you.
It's such a perfect story to illustrate our relationship to God and prayer through Jesus. Also like how you addressed the two questions people ask you most. Thanks and God Bless! lr
Excellent homily it makes a lot of sense. We complain when things are not the way we want,
the 4 laws should remind us that we can not control God. He is in charge!
A big OLE for Fr. Eduardo! P.
I agree – an excellent homily! The four laws are very helpful for this activity that is so much a part of our everyday lives yet so critical in developing our relationship with God. I also really liked the approach of making the fourth law the first – in the name of Jesus – and the powerful reference to “through Him, with Him, and in Him.” Matador, thanks for your great devotion to preaching – and to all aspects of your priesthood from which we all benefit!
