This is easy! Each week on Thursday I post my homily idea...my main focus for preaching this coming Sunday. What I am hoping for is a reaction from people in the pews. Does my "focus" connect with your daily life, faith, and experience? Or not? Either affirm the direction I am going in (by giving me an example from your life) or challenge me, ask for clarification! Questions are the best! Reaction rather than reflection is what I'm looking for here. Don't be afraid, get in the ring. Ole!

Thank you Father. Such richness, heartfulness and realness is added to your "words" when you speak them through the video. Thank you so much for this.
The knoledge of God with and within us at every moment took on such a realness at the time when His love was so dear through my closest, dearest friend.
I see God's work as never before... God's continues to outdo Himself in great works...through me, with me, in me...and through & within & in others...the difficulty I see, however, is that others don't see it that way. Don't consider it in the same way. Seems we all take credit for ourselves and the work we do, our center being the Almighty Trio of Me, Myself & I, not realizing all that we do and are is based on the generosity & graciousness & love of God...the Eucharistic prayer talks about "in this time above all we laud you yet more gloriously"...how many people can reflect on the prior day & "talk God up" with what-all He has done and worked in a day? How many people can come from Mass with the Mighty work God has worked in them?
The homily prep this week ties the three readings together so well! It helped me relate to the life of the early church and apply it to my own experience of being a member of the Body of Christ. It led me to ask myself if I see love in action there, opening the way for others to discover the closeness of God. And yes, Matador, I see the effects of the hinge on the door of faith at work all of the time. Not only do I experience it personally, but it also effects me when I see it at work between other people. Love has such a power to it, that even by observing simple but genuine expression of it between others I can sense the presence of God, and I know that I too am caught up in that. It is a reminder to me of the truth, beauty, and goodness that communion entails.
At the same time, the means you chose of visually and verbally expressing the teaching this week made it all the more powerful. You, yourself, put into action a way of communicating that could touch hearts more personally. Bravo!
Listened again. Our Parish experienced "what God had done with them & how he had opened the door of faith" in our Parish Day of Service. That was a BIG thing for our community.
Since we've had greeters at the doors, it seems people are more loving towards one another, more caring and compassionate. Love the way Staff is at the doors as we leave, what love and example for each of us! I think of how one person at a time, one heart at a time, God makes all things new. All these little things might seem trivial, but how does one grow in love except one action/prayer at a time.
I don't drop many responses, however I browsed a few comments on "Homily Prep April 28". I do have a couple of questions for you if it's okay. Could it be just me or do some of these responses appear like they are left by brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are posting at additional places, I'd like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Could you post a list of all of all your social networking sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
