This is easy! Each week on Thursday I post my homily idea...my main focus for preaching this coming Sunday. What I am hoping for is a reaction from people in the pews. Does my "focus" connect with your daily life, faith, and experience? Or not? Either affirm the direction I am going in (by giving me an example from your life) or challenge me, ask for clarification! Questions are the best! Reaction rather than reflection is what I'm looking for here. Don't be afraid, get in the ring. Ole!
Your wonderful homily Father, resounds so dearly in my heart the reality of living in this realm of God as high above His gifts; and the giver of all good gifts.
I have a dear, dear friend whom I give myself to in a very deep, devoted communion with him and with God. This friend has become so precious to me and I often say: (by God's grace) "I know he belongs to you Heavenly Father; I thank you for sharing him with me".
I think this "way of thinking", helps us to keep God always in the forefront of our minds and above all things; knowing that all that is good is from Him and belongs to Him.
